Learn the art of water­color paint­ing with acclaimed artists and instruc­tors Joyce Faulknor and Guy Mag­a­l­lanes. Art2Art is an instruc­tional tele­vi­sion series for begin­ner through advanced stu­dents who are look­ing for a fresh approach to water­color paint­ing using reli­able tech­niques. Guy and Joyce each have their proven meth­ods to this chal­leng­ing medium. Guy paints light to dark, using one color at a time, while Joyce paints dark to light, mix­ing her col­ors on the paper. In each episode, they com­plete vibrant water­color paint­ings of the same sub­ject uti­liz­ing oppo­site tech­niques. The lessons are taught in a lively and enter­tain­ing atmos­phere that encour­ages every aspir­ing water­color artist to look, laugh, and learn!

Art 2 Art can be viewed each Sat­ur­day, at 9am on KCSM Pub­lic Broad­cast Tele­vi­sion, in the San Fran­cisco Bay Area. Joyce and Guy also offer  Art2Art work­shops and demon­stra­tions to artist groups and water­color soci­eties through­out the coun­try.
